About Me

Thanks for visiting my digital portfolio. I hope you've enjoyed scanning the pages of my life. I attribute my success to my family and friends who have put up with me, I mean supported me throughout my life.

I'm a Southern girl who grew up not far from a bayou in Central Louisiana. I spent my younger years attending Tioga schools and graduated in a small class from Tioga High School. My older sister graduated when I was a Freshman. By my junior year, my younger sister had made it to high school. I am the middle child of three girls.

family

The greatest man in my life is my father. He has always supported me in whatever I chose to do. Without his support, I would not be where I am today. My analytical nature comes from my Dad while my free spirit is provided by my Mom. My Mom was a sweet cajun lady who nurtured me through my younger years. In the summer of 1996 we had to say goodbye to her as she lost her battle with cancer.

When I visit my family in Louisiana, I enjoy shooting video and taking pictures of my nieces and nephew. I now have 3 nieces and 2 nephews. They are all so cute and light up my world when I see them, which is not often enough.

hobbies/interests

As a radio/TV/film undergraduate, I also enjoy creating things visually. Occasionally (when I find the time) I do video projects. I just completed a DVD of a family reunion and I already have my next several video projects lined up. I enjoy still photography as well. I love to take pictures of children at play. My best photos were snapped when my neices weren't aware the camera was on them. You can really capture the essence of who they are in the moment.
